Active transponders = the number of distinct transponders seen by the club's timing system over the last 12 months, counted automatically by Pitboard. We count transponders, not people: a driver who runs three cars has three transponders. It is the only quantity the timing measures without ever getting it wrong.

Why billed annually?
To keep the price low and management simple, both for the club and for Pitboard. No setup fees, and you adjust the tier at renewal, based on your club's size over the season.
How is my tier calculated?
On ACTIVE TRANSPONDERS: the number of distinct transponders seen by the club's timing system over the last 12 months, measured automatically by Pitboard. Every transponder counts, including those seen only once. You can see the figure at any time in your committee area.
My club is growing, do I have to redo invoices during the year?
No, a single payment per year. We review the tier together at the annual renewal, based on the transponders seen during the past season.
My drivers have several cars, how are they counted?
One equipped car = one transponder. A driver who runs three cars therefore weighs three transponders. This is deliberately the quantity the timing measures, with no interpretation: we do not guess who is behind a transponder. Measured at RC Park: 138 transponders for 97 people, that is 1.4 transponders per driver.
Can we pay once and for all, rather than a subscription?
Yes, as an option: instead of the yearly subscription, a club can pay a single time for lifetime access (€690 on the Club plan, €990 on the Large plan). No renewal to manage, access stays open. Founding clubs get a launch price.
What if my club doesn't have timing yet?
The free plan (garage, classifieds, club page) works without timing. Automatic rankings arrive as soon as the club is equipped (MyLaps / Speedhive), or via import.
Can I try before paying?
Yes: the free plan isn't a trial period, it's a genuine offer. The club tests the Pitboard system in real conditions, and moves to the paid plan when it wants its own visual identity and the advanced features.
What are the requirements for your club?
Have a MyLaps RC4 timing system, ideally with an internet connection to send the data. Optionally, set up a permanent PC screen at the club.
