Pitboard respects your data. This page explains what we process, where it comes from, and your rights.

The essentials. The club remains the owner of its data. Pitboard is just the tool at its service. We don't sell or share anything. Everything can be deleted on simple request.
Who is responsible?

What data, and where does it come from?
We process two types of data, depending on the case.
- For a pilot who registers themselves: their email address, their nickname, and whatever they choose to add (garage, setups, lap times). This data is provided voluntarily by the pilot.
- For a club: race results, which are already public, and the membership file passed on by the club via its own platform (for example HelloAsso). Nothing is bought or collected elsewhere.
What is visible on the internet
A public club has pages open to everyone, including search engines. That is what keeps the club alive beyond its own members.
- Open without an account: the club home page, the rankings, the detected transponders, the Top, the news, the garage gallery, and the car sheets or setup sheets that their owner has made public.
- Sharing images too carry driver names, since they are meant to announce a result on social media.
- Closed to visitors: the member photo directory, a driver's profile, the schedule, the forum and the committee pages. A club account is required.
- Only drivers with results appear. A member imported by the club and never seen at timing appears nowhere.
Each driver decides for themselves. Four settings in “My account”: shorten their name for visitors, keep their photo inside the club, keep their pages out of search engines, stay out of the community gallery.
The committee, for its part, can hide the name of every driver from visitors, and the names of minors. What these settings do not change: laps stay in the ranking, otherwise the ranking of the other drivers would be wrong.
The club remains responsible for its data
For a club's data, the club is the data controller. Pitboard acts as a processor, solely on the club's behalf. The club decides what is displayed. It can request total deletion at any time.
What we never do
- We never sell any data.
- We never share any data with third parties for commercial purposes.
- We never send marketing emails to a club's members without the board's written consent.
Where is the data hosted?
The servers are located in Germany, in the European Union. Exchanges with the site are encrypted (HTTPS). Technical access is restricted.
Your rights
In accordance with GDPR, you can request access to your data, its correction, or its deletion. A club's board can request the complete deletion of its club's data. We handle it quickly, after a security export that we can hand over to you.

Cookies
The site only uses necessary technical cookies (login, session, language preference). There is no advertising or third-party tracker for marketing purposes.
